In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful "Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul, unless for a soul, or for corruption in the land, it is as if he had killed humankind entirely" (The Holy Quran, Al-Ma-ida, 5: 32). "And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell, wherein he will abide eternally, and Allah has become angry with him, and has cursed him, and has prepared for him a great torment" (Al-Nisa, 4: 93). "If you do good, you do good for yourselves; and if you do evil, (you do it) to yourselves. Then, when the latter (final) promise came, they (your enemies) will sadden your faces, and to enter the Masjid (in Jerusalem), as they entered it the first time, and will destroy what they had taken over with (total) destruction (Al-Isra, 17: 7). *** While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son). After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD. By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD. So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents. No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians. No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since. This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948. The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

A fragile truce, brokered by the US, is currently in place in Gaza. It aims to end a two-year-long war of extermination, facilitate the return of the bodies of Israeli prisoners, and allow more humanitarian aid into the Strip as a prelude to reconstruction. However, Albanese described the plan as “completely inadequate and incompatible with international law,” emphasizing the need to end the Israeli occupation, halt the exploitation of Palestinian resources, and dismantle the colonial system. She noted that Israeli forces currently control nearly half of Gaza’s territory and stressed: “This is not a war, it is a genocide, with a clear intent to eliminate an entire people.” Albanese is presently in South Africa, where she is scheduled to deliver the annual “Nelson Mandela Lecture” on October 25, coinciding with Pretoria’s genocide case against Israel at the International Court of Justice, accusing it of committing genocide in Gaza. The UN official has been under US sanctions since July due to her outspoken criticism of Israel. She is expected to present her latest report to the UN in the coming days. In the report’s draft version, published on the UN website, Albanese described Western support for Israel as “the culmination of a long history of complicity.” UN investigators and several human rights organizations, including Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch, have accused Israeli authorities of committing genocide in Gaza. Israel denies the allegations, calling them “distorted and false,” and accuses those making the claims of anti-Semitism. *** 'Hamas Leader: We urge Washington and mediators to compel Israel to implement Gaza agreement Thursday 23-October-2025 DOHA, (PIC) Isma'eel Radhwan, a senior official in the Hamas Movement, has called on the US administration and international mediators to actively intervene and pressure the Israeli occupation to fulfill its commitments under the Gaza agreement. He warned against ongoing attempts by Israel to evade its obligations. In media remarks, Radhwan emphasized Hamas’s commitment to making the agreement successful but noted that Israel has failed to uphold the humanitarian aspects of the deal. He stated that the aid entering Gaza “is insignificant compared to the scale of the catastrophe.” He pointed out that over 10,000 people remain missing under the rubble of destroyed buildings, while Gaza’s civil defense teams lack the equipment necessary to retrieve them. Radhwan accused Israel of obstructing recovery efforts, despite its responsibility for the deaths of its captives at the start of the war. “Today, Israel blames us, while it blocks the entry of equipment required to save those still trapped,” he told Al Jazeera. He affirmed that Israel is the party stalling progress in the negotiations, a fact well known to Washington, and urged the US to assume its responsibilities and apply serious pressure on Tel Aviv. This comes amid the ongoing ceasefire agreement reached in Sharm El-Shaikh on October 9, brokered by Qatar, Egypt, and Türkiye, with US participation, after two years of continuous aggression on Gaza. Despite the ceasefire, the Israeli occupation forces have continued launching airstrikes and artillery bombardments, resulting in hundreds of deaths and injuries. Israel has been committing acts of genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, with full support from the United States, while ignoring international calls and orders from the International Court of Justice to end the assault. These crimes have led to over 238,000 killed and wounded, the majority being women and children, along with more than 9,000 missing persons, hundreds of thousands displaced, and a famine that has claimed many lives, including children, on top of the total destruction of the Strip’s infrastructure. *** 'Hamas: Israeli Knesset vote to annex West Bank reveals ugly face of colonial occupation Thursday 23-October-2025 WEST BANK, (PIC) The 'Hamas Movement said that the Israeli Knesset’s preliminary approval of two draft laws, one to annex the West Bank and the other to impose sovereignty over the illegal Israeli settlement of Ma’ale Adumim, “exposes the ugly colonial face of the Israeli occupation.” In a press statement, Hamas asserted that the Israeli occupation insists on continuing its attempts to legitimize settlement expansion and impose Israeli sovereignty over occupied Palestinian territories, in blatant violation of all relevant international laws and resolutions. The Movement emphasized that the frantic Israeli efforts to annex West Bank land are null and void, lacking any legitimacy, and do not alter the fact that the West Bank is Palestinian land, historically, legally, and as affirmed by the International Court of Justice’s advisory opinion issued in 2024. Hamas held the Israeli occupation fully responsible for the consequences of these illegal laws, urging the United Nations, the Arab League, and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to condemn this step. It also called for immediate action to rein in the occupation’s policies and hold its leaders accountable for their crimes against the Palestinian people and blatant violations of international law. Earlier today, the Israeli Knesset approved in preliminary readings two draft laws to impose “Israeli sovereignty” over the West Bank and specifically on the Ma’ale Adumim illegal settlement, despite diplomatic objections and pressure to halt the move. The first bill, introduced by MK Avi Maoz of the far-right Noam party, calls for imposing Israeli sovereignty over the entire West Bank. The second, submitted by Avigdor Lieberman, targets the Ma’ale Adumim settlement. The vote showed 32 Knesset members in favor of Lieberman’s proposal and 9 against. The broader West Bank annexation bill was supported by 25 members and opposed by 24. Several members of the Likud, Shas, and Kahol Lavan parties were absent during the vote. Members of United Torah Judaism voted against the West Bank annexation bill. Notably, Likud MK Yuli Edelstein defied his party’s stance and supported the bill, along with members from Yisrael Beiteinu, Religious Zionism, and Agudat Yisrael, including Yitzhak Goldknopf, Yisrael Eichler, and Yaakov Tessler. Arab parties and the Democratic Party voted against the bill. Some Yesh Atid members abstained from entering the chamber during the vote, despite having the numbers to block the measure. The vote came after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu attempted to delay the legislation following international warnings, but it ultimately passed with majority support in the preliminary stage. Far-right Noam leader Avi Maoz rejected Netanyahu’s request to postpone the proposal, reaffirming his determination to enforce Israeli law in the West Bank. This move is seen as a dangerous escalation in the annexation agenda and deepens the entrenchment of the occupation, in clear defiance of international law and UN resolutions. The legislation will now proceed through additional readings before it can be enacted. In July 2023, the Knesset had already passed a declaration calling for imposing “Israeli sovereignty” over the West Bank with the support of 71 members, though it carried no immediate legal effect at the time. *** Two martyrs in Israeli airstrikes on Lebanon’s Biqaa' region Thursday 23-October-2025 BEIRUT, (PIC) Two Lebanese were martyred and others were injured in a series of intense airstrikes launched by the Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) targeting several areas in the eastern part of Lebanon, in the latest violation of the ceasefire agreement. According to Lebanon’s National News Agency, the raids were accompanied by low-altitude flights of Israeli warplanes over the Biqaa' plain. Loud explosions were heard across the region, with columns of smoke rising from the targeted sites. In a statement, the IOFs claimed that its air force had struck “'Hizbullah targets” in the Biqaa' area, allegedly based on intelligence provided by the military intelligence directorate (AMAN). The statement said the strikes targeted a Hezbollah training camp where fighters were reportedly present at the time of the bombardment, alleging that the camp was used for “military training and preparation to plan attacks against Israel.” The IOFs also claimed to have hit “military infrastructure at a 'Hizbullah precision-guided missile production site” in the Biqaa', as well as additional military locations in the town of Sharbin, in the Ba'albek-Hermel district. The Israeli military further alleged that “weapons storage, the construction of military infrastructure, and conducting training operations against Israel constitute a gross violation of the understandings between Israel and Lebanon and a direct threat to the state’s security.” Earlier in the day, Lebanese media reported that Israeli reconnaissance drones had flown at low altitude over Beirut and its suburbs, violating Lebanese airspace in parallel with the bombardment of eastern Lebanon. These developments come as US envoy to Lebanon Morgan Ortagus is scheduled to visit Israel on Sunday for diplomatic talks aimed at “maintaining the ceasefire and preventing Hezbollah from rearming inside Lebanon.” *** Two Lebanese citizens killed in Israeli air raids on eastern Lebanon’s Biqaa' region BEIRUT, October 23, 2025 (WAFA) – Two Lebanese citizens were killed today in the town of Shumistar and the village of Janta as a result of a series of Israeli air raids targeting various areas in the eastern and western mountain ranges of Lebanon’s Biqaa' region. The Lebanese News Agency reported that Israeli warplanes launched multiple airstrikes on several locations in the Baalbek district. The raids struck the mountainous area of Janta in the eastern range and extended to several sites on the outskirts of Shumistar town in eastern Lebanon. The attacks killed two individuals and left several others injured. Panic spread among students at Shumistar Secondary School, where several window panes were shattered during school hours due to the bombings. The air raids were accompanied by intense low-altitude flights of Israeli warplanes over the Biqaa' Valley. Explosions were heard across the Bekaa mountains, and thick smoke columns were seen rising from targeted locations. Earlier today, the Lebanese News Agency also reported that Israeli unmanned reconnaissance aircraft flew at low altitude over the Lebanese capital Beirut and its suburbs, marking a new breach of Lebanese airspace coinciding with the airstrikes in eastern Lebanon. M.N. *** 80-year-old woman killed in Israeli airstrike on 'Arab Saleem, southern Lebanon BEIRUT, October 23, 2025 (WAFA) – An 80-year-old Lebanese woman was killed Thursday evening in an Israeli airstrike on the town of 'Arab Saleem in southern Lebanon. According to the Lebanese National News Agency, the woman was killed when an Israeli airstrike hit a room near the 'Arab Saleem municipality and its primary school. M.N. *** UN official warns of generational trauma in Gaza after two years of Israeli assault NEW YORK, October 23, 2025 (WAFA) – A senior UN official has warned about the deteriorating conditions for women and newborns in the Gaza Strip, describing the situation as resembling “a dystopian film” due to starvation, rising deaths, and the collapse of maternal healthcare. Speaking on Wednesday, Andrew Saberton, Deputy Executive Director of the UN Population Fund (UNFPA), said he was unprepared for the level of devastation he witnessed during his visit to Gaza. “Gaza has been flattened. Mile upon mile of rubble and dust, with few buildings left intact. I cannot unsee what I have seen,” Saberton said at a news conference addressing the situation for women and girls in Gaza and the occupied West Bank. He highlighted the toll on UNFPA staff, many of whom have lost relatives and had their homes destroyed, yet continue to work amid ongoing conflict. Saberton stressed that many women in Gaza have lost everything and are unable to access basic personal hygiene supplies, including during menstruation. Displaced families are sheltering in half-destroyed buildings or makeshift tents, while hunger poses a deadly threat to mothers and infants. “One in four people is starving, including 11,500 pregnant women for whom starvation is particularly catastrophic,” he said. The health crisis is further exacerbated by the destruction of healthcare infrastructure, with 94% of hospitals in Gaza damaged or destroyed. Premature and low-birth-weight babies now make up around 70% of newborns, and one in three pregnancies is high risk. The shortage of essential drugs has led to rising maternal deaths. Saberton described the recent ceasefire as a “glimmer of hope,” but warned that renewed attacks have plunged families back into terror. He called for a permanent ceasefire and full, safe humanitarian access to deliver much-needed aid, noting that current aid deliveries are “nowhere near enough.” He emphasized the urgent need to restore healthcare and protection services for women and girls, with a special focus on addressing the psychological impact of the conflict. “Seventy percent of Gaza’s youth are suffering from depression and anxiety,” Saberton said, warning of long-term generational trauma with over half of young people and approximately 40% of adults expected to suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder. Turning to the occupied West Bank, Saberton expressed how movement restrictions are disrupting access to healthcare for an estimated 73,000 pregnant women. He described life in the West Bank as dominated by barriers and checkpoints that restrict movement and limit opportunities, especially for women and youth. “The world can no longer afford to turn away. Not from Gaza. Not from the West Bank,” Saberton urged. “True peace must guarantee safety, support and agency for every woman and girl to heal and to live their lives in dignity.” M.N. *** Several countries and organizations condemn Israeli annexation plans and welcome ICJ advisory opinion CAIRO, October 23, 2025 (WAFA) – The Arab Republic of Egypt, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Republic of Indonesia, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Republic of Türkiye, the Republic of Djibouti, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Sultanate of Oman, the Republic of The Gambia, the State of Palestine, the State of Qatar, the State of Kuwait, the State of Libya, Malaysia, the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the League of Arab States, and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation issued a joint statement condemning in the strongest terms the approval by the Israeli Knesset of two draft laws seeking to impose so-called “Israeli sovereignty” over the occupied West Bank. The statement described these measures as a blatant violation of international law and United Nations Security Council resolutions, particularly Resolution 2334, which condemns all Israeli actions aimed at changing the demographic composition and status of the occupied Palestinian territory since 1967, including East Jerusalem. The statement also welcomed the advisory opinion of the International Court of Justice (ICJ), issued on October 22, 2025, which affirmed the illegality of the Israeli occupation, settlement construction, and annexation efforts in the West Bank, reaffirming that Israel has no sovereignty over the occupied Palestinian territories. The countries and organizations commended the ICJ’s advisory opinion, which reaffirmed Israel’s obligations under international humanitarian law to ensure the population in the occupied Palestinian territory (OPT), including Gaza, has access to essential daily supplies. The opinion emphasized Israel’s duty to agree to and facilitate relief efforts by all means, including through the United Nations and its agencies, notably the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA). The Court confirmed Israel’s obligation to respect the prohibition on using starvation as a weapon and recalled Israel’s blockade of aid to Gaza. It also reaffirmed the prohibition of mass forcible transfers and deportations, including the imposition of intolerable living conditions. Furthermore, the ICJ reaffirmed the Palestinian people’s right to self-determination and independent statehood, noting that Israel’s territorial claims over East Jerusalem have been declared null and void by the Security Council, including measures attempting to cease UNRWA operations in East Jerusalem. The joint statement warned against the continuation of Israel’s unilateral and illegal policies and called on the international community to assume its legal and moral responsibilities. It urged the global community to compel Israel to halt its dangerous escalation and unlawful practices in the occupied Palestinian territories and to uphold the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people to establish an independent and sovereign state along the lines of June 4, 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital. The statement emphasized that this is the only path toward achieving a just, comprehensive peace that guarantees security and stability in the region. M.N. *** UN rights chief calls for immediate compliance with ICJ ruling on Gaza aid GENEVA, October 23, 2025 (WAFA) – The UN High Commissioner for Human Rights urged Israel on Thursday to immediately comply with obligations under international law as outlined in the recent International Court of Justice (ICJ) advisory opinion. The ruling emphasizes that people in Gaza and across the occupied Palestinian territory must have access to essential supplies. Volker Turk said in a statement that the ICJ’s advisory opinion reaffirmed that international human rights law applies alongside international humanitarian law in the occupied Palestinian territory, and that Israel is required to “respect, protect and fulfil the human rights of Palestinians.” He explained that the court specifically referenced fundamental rights, including the rights to life, freedom from torture or ill-treatment, liberty and security, freedom of movement, protection of the family, an adequate standard of living, health, education, non-discrimination, and self-determination. “Israel – and all other states – must comply with the law as made clear in the court’s ruling, and act swiftly to bring about meaningful improvements to the appalling human rights and humanitarian situation on the ground,” Turk said. He added that all parties must meet their obligations under international law, beginning with “saving lives rather than placing them at grave risk, and flooding Gaza with much-needed aid.” “This must be the first step towards recovery and peace-building anchored in human rights, so that the ceasefire in Gaza transforms into enduring peace, in line with international law,” he concluded. The ICJ ruled earlier Wednesday that Israel is obliged under the Geneva Convention to agree to and facilitate relief schemes provided by third states and impartial humanitarian groups, including the International Committee of the Red Cross and the UN agency for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA), to ensure sufficient aid reaches the Gaza Strip. M.N. *** UN: Malnutrition among pregnant women and infants in Gaza threatens future generations Thursday 23-October-2025 GAZA, (PIC) The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) has warned that malnutrition among pregnant women and infants in the Gaza Strip could have lasting consequences for future generations, potentially causing long-term health problems that will require continuous care for babies born during the current conflict. This warning was issued during a press conference by Andrew Saberton, UNFPA’s representative, at the UN headquarters in New York, following a five-day mission that included visits to Jerusalem, the West Bank, and Gaza, where he spent five hours on the ground. Saberton described the destruction in Gaza as resembling “a scene from a Hollywood movie.” Saberton stated that one in four people in Gaza is currently experiencing hunger, including around 11,500 pregnant women. As a result, about 70% of newborns are being delivered prematurely or with low birth weights, compared to 20% before the war began on October 7, 2023. He noted that neonatal units in Gaza’s hospitals are operating at over 170% of their capacity, often forcing staff to place multiple babies in a single incubator. He also revealed that one-third of pregnancies in Gaza are now classified as “high risk,” and that the maternal mortality rate remains elevated. Saberton stressed that malnutrition is the biggest crisis, which is compounded by medicine shortages and the collapse of medical infrastructure. According to him, 94% of Gaza’s hospitals have been damaged or destroyed, and only 15% of health facilities are capable of providing emergency obstetric care. He further noted that the lack of access to contraceptives is pushing some women to undergo unsafe abortions. At the same time, gender-based and sexual violence, including child marriage, has surged in Gaza, mirroring patterns seen in other conflict zones. According to data documented by the Ministry of Health and reported by the Government Media Office, 12,000 miscarriages have occurred among pregnant women due to a lack of nutrition and healthcare since the start of the war on October 7, 2023. *** ****** Death toll from Israel’s aggression on Gaza rises to 68,280 GAZA, October 23, 2025 (WAFA) – The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza. reported that 14 Palestinians, including one killed by direct targeting by Israeli forces and 13 whose bodies were recovered from the rubble arrived at hospitals across the Gaza Strip, in addition to two injuries, during the past 24 hours. The death toll from the Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip has risen to 68,280 killed and 170,375 injured since October 7, 2023, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza. The Ministry noted that unknown number of victims remain trapped under the rubble and on the roads, as ambulance and rescue crews face severe challenges in reaching them due to the ongoing destruction and lack of access to many affected areas. Authorities further stated that since the ceasefire declared on October 11, 2025, at least 89 Palestinians have been killed and 317 others injured, while specialized teams have recovered 449 bodies from beneath the debris. M.N. *** WHO evacuates 41 critically ill patients from Gaza for treatment abroad Thursday 23-October-2025 GAZA, (PIC) The World Health Organization (WHO) has carried out an emergency medical evacuation of 41 critically ill patients from Gaza, along with 145 companions, to receive treatment outside the besieged enclave, WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus announced on Thursday. In a statement posted on X, Ghebreyesus said around 15,000 other patients in Gaza are still waiting for evacuation, stressing that the organization continues to urge nations to show solidarity and open all possible routes to expedite medical transfers. Many of those evacuated suffer from severe war-related injuries caused by Israel’s ongoing genocide in Gaza, while others are battling chronic illnesses such as cancer and heart disease, conditions that Gaza’s devastated healthcare system can no longer treat adequately. Since the beginning of the genocide, more than 7,000 patients have been evacuated from Gaza, with Egypt receiving more than half of them. These transfers have been vital to easing pressure on the enclave’s overstretched hospitals. However, evacuation rates have plummeted sharply since the Rafah border crossing was seized by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in May 2024. Following the collapse of an earlier ceasefire in March, fewer than four patients are allowed to leave Gaza each day. The WHO previously reported that approximately 15,600 patients, including 3,800 children, remain on the waiting list for medical evacuation. With Rafah crossing still closed, Gaza’s most vulnerable patients are trapped inside the war zone without access to life-saving care. According to WHO data, since July 2024, more than 740 people, among them 137 children, who were approved for treatment abroad have died due to Israel’s closure of border crossings. *** 'Hamas: Israel’s ban on foreign press in Gaza aims to conceal its war crimes Thursday 23-October-2025 GAZA, (PIC) The 'Hamas Movement on Thursday accused the Israeli occupation authorities of deliberately imposing a total media blackout on Gaza by continuing to block international journalists from entering the besieged enclave. In a statement, 'Hamas said that the Israeli Supreme Court’s decision to grant the occupation government an additional 30 days to respond to a petition demanding media access “exposes a clear determination to maintain the blackout and hide the horrific crimes committed by the Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) in Gaza.” The Movement added that this move “plainly reflects Israel’s ongoing effort to conceal the scale of atrocities and the massive destruction caused by its war machine in Gaza, as well as its systematic violations against civilians, infrastructure, and all aspects of life, crimes that amount to acts of genocide against the Palestinian people.” 'Hamas stressed that these restrictions constitute “a blatant violation of press freedom,” saying that the occupation “fears the free press that would expose its heinous crimes and document the effects of genocide and the suffocating blockade imposed on Palestinians in Gaza.” The Movement called on international media and human rights organizations to exert maximum pressure on Israel to allow immediate access for foreign journalists and to stand in solidarity with Palestinian reporters who continue to cover Israel’s genocidal campaign and its devastating humanitarian consequences. More than 130 media outlets and press freedom organizations have already urged Israel to “immediately and unconditionally allow” international journalists into Gaza, after foreign correspondents were banned from entering since October 7, 2023, with only a few limited exceptions. The Israeli authorities have kept Gaza closed to foreign media, permitting only brief, tightly controlled visits embedded with IOFs units. Major international outlets have thus relied heavily on exhausted Palestinian journalists inside Gaza, who have endured relentless coverage for more than two years amid constant bombardment. The Foreign Press Association (FPA), based in Jerusalem and representing international correspondents working in Israel and the occupied Palestinian territories, has filed a petition before Israel’s Supreme Court challenging the ongoing ban on media access to Gaza. *** Ben Gvir threatens to execute Palestinian prisoners, Hamas calls him “Fascist” Thursday 23-October-2025 Negev, (PIC) The Israeli Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben Gvir, visited Ketziot Prison in the Naqab (Negev) desert, appearing boastful as he stripped Palestinian prisoners of their most basic rights. Hamas condemned his threats to execute prisoners, calling them a reflection of the fascist behavior embraced by the Israeli occupation apartheid regime. A video circulated Thursday on social media shows Ben Gvir standing at a prison cell door, opening a small window to reveal three prisoners sitting hunched on the floor. In the video, Ben Gvir says, “All the elite members on the ground, as they should be.” He adds, “They get the bare minimum, no jam, no chocolate, no television, no radio. We’ve taken everything away from here.” Then he declares, “But there’s still one thing left, capital punishment.” On Tuesday, Ben Gvir renewed his call to pass a bill allowing the execution of Palestinian prisoners accused by Israel of carrying out attacks. Last September, a parliamentary committee approved the proposal on its first reading in the Knesset. It must pass three readings to become law. Systematic extermination in prisons The Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) warned Thursday that Ben Gvir continues to publicly incite systematic extermination policies inside Israeli prisons by repeatedly calling for the killing and torture of Palestinian detainees. The PPS explained that these incitements coincide with dangerous legislative moves in the Knesset aimed at legalizing the execution of prisoners and establishing a special court devoid of legal safeguards to try detainees from Gaza. “These legal maneuvers, which have already passed preliminary stages, represent a dangerous shift toward legitimizing crimes against prisoners and turning killing into a legally backed practice,” the group stated. They also highlighted harrowing testimonies from recently released prisoners, describing unprecedented levels of brutality and abuse during arrest and detention, especially since the start of the genocide campaign, which calls for an urgent, independent international investigation based on the evidence available. According to the group, extermination policies continue inside Israeli prisons, with far-right Israeli parties using prisoners’ cases as political tools. Right-wing leaders often compete in election cycles to appear more brutal toward Palestinian detainees. The group emphasized that this is not a temporary deviation but a deeply rooted policy within the Israeli occupation system. They reaffirmed that what is happening inside Israeli prisons is part of the larger campaign of genocide, and that the reported martyrdom of prisoners reflects only a fraction of the broader crimes, including physical and psychological torture, starvation, medical neglect, humiliation, and even sexual violence, including rape. More than 9,100 Palestinian prisoners remain detained, in addition to hundreds held in military detention camps. Fascist behavior The Hamas Movement condemned Ben Gvir’s filmed scenes of systematic torture and threats of execution, calling them a “manifestation of the sadistic and fascist behavior practiced by the terrorist occupation regime against our heroic prisoners and the Palestinian people.” The Movement said in a statement, “The whole world witnessed the scale of the systematic criminality practiced by these murderous leaders, whose hands are stained with the blood of innocents, against Palestinian prisoners, both living and deceased. This is evident in the tortured and mutilated bodies of martyrs returned to Gaza, often unrecognizable due to the horrific violations inflicted upon them.” Hamas called on the international community to expose Israeli crimes and hold its leaders accountable before international courts. They urged the UN and human rights organizations to take immediate action to stop violations against prisoners, demand their release, prevent war criminals from escaping justice, and ensure Israeli leaders face trial for their crimes against humanity. *** ý*** Killing, Injuring, and Abduction of Palestinians in the West Bank by Israeli Occupation Regime Forces ***ý Young man injured in IOF Nablus raid Thursday 23-October-2025 WEST BANK, (PIC) The Red Crescent affirmed that a young Palestinian man from Nablus was shot and seriously wounded on Thursday as clashes erupted during an Israeli military raid on Askar refugee camp in the city. The raids led to violent clashes, resulting in multiple Palestinian injuries and the demolition of a house belonging to the family of two detainees in Salfeet Governorate. According to medical sources, three young men were injured by live ammunition during the Israeli incursion into Qalandya refugee camp, north of El-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), one of whom is in critical condition. Military vehicles also stormed the camp entrance and the nearby town of Kafr I'qab, firing live bullets and stun grenades at local youth. In Ramallah, the IOFs raided the “Bara'im El-Mughair” kindergarten in the village of Al-Mughair, northeast of the city, photographing its interior and informing the principal that residents were banned from gathering in the village’s streets. Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation forces kidnapped two young men from the village of Burqa in Nablus, as well as several others from Shaikh Munis, Zawata, and Sebestya, including a boy. The Israeli occupation forces also set up a military checkpoint in front of Bureen Secondary School as students headed to class and kept the village entrances closed for the third day in a row. In Jineen, the Israeli occupation forces kidnapped three former prisoners from the town of Silat El-'Harithiya, west of the city. A separate military unit backed by armored vehicles also stormed the courtyard of Al-Ahli Hospital in El-Khaleel (Hebron). In Salfeet Governorate, the Israeli occupation forces demolished the home of the family of detainees Mahir and Jameel Samara in the town of Bruqeen after imposing a tight military cordon and preventing citizens from approaching the area. The Palestinian Red Crescent confirmed that a young man was seriously injured on Wednesday evening by live Israeli gunfire to the neck during the IOFs raid on Nablus in the northern West Bank. The organization said its teams dealt with a critical injury to the 18-year-old, who was transferred to the hospital after being shot in the Ras El-'Ain neighborhood of Nablus. Meanwhile, the Palestinian Medical Relief Society reported multiple cases of suffocation among civilians due to tear gas inhalation. The IOFs stormed Nablus through the El-Tour checkpoint, with military vehicles roaming several neighborhoods while firing live rounds, stun grenades, and tear gas, leading to confrontations and injuries. According to United Nations data, the Israeli military has carried out 83 punitive demolitions in the West Bank over the past two years, amid escalating violence since the war in Gaza began. The toll has surpassed 1,057 Palestinian martyrs, with around 10,000 injured and over 20,000 arrested, including 1,600 children. *** Israeli forces attack farmers during olive harvest season near Bait La'hm (Bethlehem) Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), October 23, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces attacked a number of farmers today in the village of Nahaleen, west of Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), during the olive harvest season. Local sources told WAFA correspondent that the occupation forces assaulted several farmers in the 'Ain El-Balad area, on the outskirts of the village, while they were picking olives. The soldiers attacked the farmers, seized their harvesting tools, baskets, and quantities of collected olives. The Israeli occupation forces also detained several young men who were helping their families with the harvest before transferring them to an unknown location. The annual olive harvest season witnesses an escalation in attacks by Israeli occupation forces and colonists on farmers across the West Bank. These attacks include preventing access to farmlands, damaging trees and crops, and assaulting farmers as part of a systematic policy aimed at pressuring landowners and depriving them of their livelihood. M.N. *** *** Aggression and Attacks by Illegal Israeli Settlers and Soldiers *** Note: Despite the Trump administration support for the Israeli occupation apartheid regime, the U.S. official policy is still considering the Israeli settlement activities in the Palestinian territories as illegal. *** Illegal Israeli settlers steal tent and livestock pen east of Toubas TUBAS, October 23, 2025 (WAFA) – A group of the illegal Israeli settlers stole a residential tent and a livestock pen today in the Khirbet Yerza area, east of Toubas in the northern West Bank, according to local sources. Mukhlis Masa'eed, head of the Yerza village council, reported that the illegal Israeli settlers stole a residential tent and a livestock pen belonging to a local Palestinian citizen. The illegal Israeli settlers have been escalating their attacks against Palestinian residents and their properties in various Bedouin communities across the occupied West Bank, forcing dozens of families to leave their homes over the last two years. M.N. *** IOA orders demolition of industrial facilities, homes in O. Jerusalem Thursday 23-October-2025 Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), (PIC) The Israeli occupation apartheid regime (IOAR) on Thursday issued demolition orders for large industrial facilities and homes in the towns of 'Anata and Qalandya in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem). Local sources reported that occupation forces raided the entrance of 'Anata, northeast of Jerusalem, and distributed demolition notices targeting barns, iron factories, and furniture workshops. This move comes as part of a long-standing plan to build a road, a roundabout, and a bridge connecting the Anata junction to the Hizma military checkpoint, within the framework of the “Greater Jerusalem” and “E1” settlement projects. According to the sources, the IOAR seeks to eliminate any Palestinian structures along the path of this project. Demolition operations in the area have been repeatedly carried out under various pretexts, such as lack of building permits or proximity to the apartheid wall. The sources warned that what is happening at the entrance to 'Anata and along El-Za’eem road is part of a broader plan to establish a new segregated road in the near future, aimed at preventing Palestinians from using Abu George Road, which leads to the Jerusalem–Jericho highway and is designated exclusively for settlers. Consequently, the 'Anata/Al-Za’eem entrance would be restricted to Palestinian use only, connecting 'Anata, El-Za’eem, and El-'Hizma checkpoint roundabout. In a related development, the IOAR also issued evacuation orders on Thursday to several residents in the town of Qalandya, northwest of Jerusalem, demanding the evacuation of their homes and lands. Local sources said that teams from the IOAR municipality, accompanied by military forces, raided the eastern part of the town and handed out notices to vacate several homes and olive-planted lands. Meanwhile, occupation forces arrested two children from the town of El-'Eisawiya, east of Jerusalem. Local sources reported that the children, Mu'hammed Abu 'Asab and Ahmad Abed, were detained after soldiers raided their family homes. The same sources added that Israeli forces completely closed the Bait Iksa military checkpoint, northwest of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), preventing residents from entering or leaving the village, which led to severe traffic congestion. *** *** News Related to the Israeli Genocidal War on the Palestinian People *** OIC slams Israeli Knesset’s annexation law, declares support for ICJ advisory opinion JEDDAH, October 23, 2025 (WAFA) – The General Secretariat of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) unequivocally denounces the Israeli Knesset's recent approval of legislation aimed at annexing the occupied West Bank and imposing alleged Israeli sovereignty over it. "This legislative action, coupled with another law formalising a settlement, represents a blatant infringement of international law, pertinent United Nations resolutions, the Advisory Opinion of the International Court of Justice (ICJ), and the New York Declaration on the Peaceful Settlement of the Question of Palestine and the Implementation of the Two-State Solution," OIC said. "Furthermore, the OIC applauds the ICJ's Advisory Opinion, which unequivocally reiterates Israel's legal and humanitarian obligations under international law. The Court's opinion emphasises the necessity for unimpeded humanitarian operations spearheaded by the United Nations and its associated bodies, particularly the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), while also highlighting the accountability mechanisms for those perpetrating attacks against humanitarian personnel and infrastructure." "The OIC asserts that the Occupied Palestinian Territory, which encompasses the Gaza Strip and the West Bank—including East Al-Quds—constitutes a singular geographical entity. Consequently, any claims of Israeli sovereignty over these areas are devoid of legal standing and are categorically null and void according to international law," the OIC statement added. "Considering these developments, the OIC calls upon the international community, specifically the United Nations Security Council, to fulfil its obligations and take immediate and decisive action to curb these violations and transgressions. Such actions not only jeopardise the viability of a two-state solution but also threaten broader international efforts to foster justice, stability, and peace in the region." K.T *** Presidency welcomes President Trump’s statements rejecting annexation RAMALLAH, October 23, 2025 (WAFA) – Nabil Abu Rudeineh, spokesman for President Mahmoud Abbas, welcomed US President Donald Trump’s statements to Time magazine today rejecting Israel's proposed annexation of the West Bank, praising his firm stance toward Israel on the matter. Abu Rudeineh explained that Trump’s position came after he pressured Israel to declare a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, a demand that President Mahmoud Abbas has made since the start of the war. The presidential spokesperson expressed great appreciation for the relationship between President Mahmoud Abbas and President Trump, citing Trump’s remarks in the interview: "He [President Abbas] is respected by the Palestinians. He is respected as a sage, you know, as a figure… But I have always found him reasonable, like, you know, you saw him come up to me and couldn't have been friendlier." Abu Rudeineh urged President Trump “to continue making significant efforts that could achieve security and stability in the Middle East,” affirming the commitment of the Palestinian leadership “to international and Arab legitimacy, as well as the political positions announced by President Abbas in his recent speech to the United Nations General Assembly.” M.N. *** Guterres refers ICJ advisory opinion on Palestine to UN General Assembly NEW YORK, October 23, 2025 (WAFA) – United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres has referred the advisory opinion issued by the International Court of Justice (ICJ) on Israel’s obligations in the occupied Palestinian territories to the UN General Assembly, which originally requested the opinion. According to a statement issued by his office, the Secretary-General emphasized that it is now the responsibility of the General Assembly to decide on any further actions regarding the matter. The advisory opinion reaffirmed key legal obligations of Israel under international law, particularly its duties as an occupying power to ensure that Palestinians have access to essential needs and to facilitate impartial humanitarian relief efforts without obstruction. The ICJ also affirmed Israel’s responsibilities under international humanitarian law, including the protection of humanitarian and medical personnel, the prohibition of forced displacement of civilians, and the ban on using starvation as a weapon of war. It reiterated the rights of detainees to receive visits from the International Committee of the Red Cross. The Court further asserted Israel’s obligations under international human rights law to respect and uphold the rights of the Palestinian people, while recognizing the vital role of the United Nations and its agencies—especially the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA)—in providing humanitarian aid and supporting Palestinians’ right to self-determination. Guterres pointed out that the ICJ dismissed allegations questioning UNRWA’s neutrality and reaffirmed that Israel, as a UN member state, must cooperate with the organization and its agencies. The court also emphasized that Israel must respect the privileges, immunities, and inviolability of UN premises, staff, and assets, obligations that remain binding even during armed conflict. He urged Israel to comply with its international obligations related to the presence and activities of the UN and other humanitarian actors in the occupied Palestinian territories. He reiterated the importance of all parties adhering to international humanitarian and human rights law. The Secretary-General concluded that the ICJ’s advisory opinion could play a decisive role in improving the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza. He called for renewed efforts to establish a credible political process aimed at ending the occupation and achieving a two-state solution, with Israel and Palestine living side by side in peace and security within their internationally recognized 1967 borders. M.N *** China urges international community to use ICJ advisory opinion as guide to ease humanitarian crisis in Palestine BEIJING, October 23, 2025 (WAFA) – China called on the international community today to take the advisory opinion issued by the International Court of Justice (ICJ) as a guiding framework to effectively alleviate the humanitarian crisis in Palestine. In a statement released by the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Beijing emphasized the urgent need for the international community to make concerted efforts to reach a comprehensive, just, and lasting settlement of the Palestinian issue as soon as possible. The statement explained that the ICJ advisory opinion clearly states that the Israeli occupation is obligated to cooperate with the United Nations and its agencies to ensure the delivery of humanitarian aid to the occupied Palestinian territories. China reaffirmed its firm and clear stance on the Palestinian issue, emphasizing its commitment to justice and strong support for the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people. Yesterday, the ICJ affirmed that the Israeli occupation is required to facilitate the delivery of humanitarian assistance to the Gaza Strip, including aid provided by UN agencies. M.N *** France calls on Israel to remove obstacles to humanitarian aid delivery in Gaza and the West Bank PARIS, October 23, 2025 (WAFA) – France has urged Israel to remove all obstacles preventing the broad and unhindered delivery and distribution of humanitarian aid, ensuring that Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank have access to essential goods and services needed for daily life. In a statement issued by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Paris said it had taken note of the advisory opinion issued by the International Court of Justice (ICJ), which reaffirmed Israel’s obligation to facilitate humanitarian access to Gaza and to cooperate with the United Nations in Palestine. The ministry reiterated France’s full commitment to international law and to the fundamental role of the ICJ as the principal judicial body of the United Nations. France renewed its call on Israel to meet its obligations under international humanitarian law, as confirmed by the Court, and to remove all barriers impeding access to essential supplies such as water, food, shelter, and medical aid. The French government also urged Israel to cooperate with the United Nations and its agencies, including the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), stressing the importance of the full implementation of all provisions of the ceasefire agreement—particularly its humanitarian components—to meet the urgent needs of the population in Gaza.
